Communication, Collaboration, & Convergence
The Tampa Bay Computer Society (TBCS) is hosting the FACUG Fall Conference on Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Clearwater, Florida. While the fall conference is only a single day (as opposed to the three day conference we host in the spring), There will also be a pre-conference event held the Friday night beforehand at the TBCS Resource Center.
Technology is profoundly affecting the way we live our lives. The Internet is less than 5,000 days old and yet it has remarkably changed how we communicate, how we market goods and services, etc. Change is happening so fast that it's becoming extremely difficult to keep track of. We are going to place a lot of emphasis at this gathering on "Communication, Collaboration, & Convergence". We want to help make you aware of the best of the options available to you in these areas.
It's an exciting new world. Computer users need a lot of help to take advantage of these technologies. Computer User Groups are well-positioned to be the vehicle that helps them learn (in case you haven't noticed, there aren't that many schools left that can teach these things). Come and join us in Clearwater in October for a peek into the future.

Registration is open to all Computer User Group members, whether or not their group is a FACUG member. PC Groups, MAC Groups & all others are invited.
